Generic CoC Derogation Extended

FSC has extended the validity of a generic derogation: DER-STD-40-004_02 Delay in applicability for activities outsourced for storage, logistics, or forwarding of ‘finished and labelled’ products. This provides a delay in meeting the requirements of ADVICE-40-004-23 V2-0 (available on page 26 of FSC-DIR-40-004) for contractors who provide storage, logistics or forwarding activities for ‘finished and labelled’ products, so long as there is no risk of mixing. Based on stakeholder responses to the consulted draft (FSC-STD-40-004 V4-0 D1-0), FSC International has decided to extend this derogation until 2028, with slight adjustments to the original text.
