IGI for the implementation of the FSC Pesticides Policy

Provide a control framework to ensure consistency in the development of national indicators for the use of highly restricted and restricted HHPs by SDGs and provide indicators for countries with no SDG.
- Develop International Generic Indicators (IGI) and instructions for standard developers to facilitate the implementation of the of the FSC Pesticides Policy.
- Develop instructions for Standard Development Groups and Certification Bodies on how to incorporate the IGI to National Forest Stewardship Standards and Interim National Standards.
- Address potential recommendations and conditions from the Policy and Standards Committee or Board of Directors resulting from the approval process of the revised policy.

Timeline
FSC-STD-60-004 International Generic Indicators V2-1 is published.
Final draft of the international generic indicators for highly hazardous pesticides approved by the FSC Board of Directors.
The indicators will be shared with Standard Developers to be incorporated to Forests Stewardship Standards as per FSC-ADV-60-006-02 and will be published in the next updated of the FSC-STD-60-004.
