A high-level event on the EU Regulation on deforestation-free products (EUDR) and tracing the origin of wood. The event took place on 25 April in Brussels and focused how the EUDR and its geo-location requirement can play a role in the wood sector, taking into account the environmental, economic, social dimension of the matter, both in Europe and globally.
The FSC Amazon Business Encounter was held on 24 November 2023 in Belem, Brazil. It provided a platform for professionals along the tropical timber value chain to meet, get updates on the changes in the EU market and exchange views on how to together tackle the shared challenges and drive trade of tropical timber from sustainable managed forests.

FSC will be taking part in the Carrefour International du Bois (international wood forum), a major event for the wood industry all over the world.
