The revision of the Policy for the Association of Organizations with FSC (FSC-POL-01-004) is now open with a call for Technical Working Group applicants. To apply for the Technical Working Group and follow the revision process visit the new process page here.
Technical Working Group established to continue the revision of Procedure FSC-PRO-01-009 Processing FSC Policy for Association Complaints. New process page established and can be found here. The revision of the Policy FSC-POL-01-004 Policy for the Association of Organizations with FSC remains on hold.
After two rounds of consultation it emerged that further work was required to include issues concerning applicability and scope. In addition, several key development processes started which directly impact the Policy for Association, such as work on the conversion policy and ILO requirements. Though a proposal was presented to the Board, it was decided to put the process on hold and the working group was discontinued.
