El Consejo Directivo aprobó el 07 de agosto de 2019 el FSCSTD-40-006 V2-0: Estándar FSC para la Certificación de Proyectos. El concepto de la certificación de proyectos se rediseñó y simplificó, lo cual también significó que había necesidad de reajustar los requisitos de las marcas registradas para comunicar públicamente acerca de proyectos y organizaciones que tienen un certificado de proyecto.
