New Chain of Custody Interpretations

The Policy & Performance Unit has published three new interpretations, now available in the Chain of Custody Interpretations document. You can access them here, with the corresponding page numbers listed below for easy reference:

• INT-STD-40-004_68 (on page 46): Addresses stakeholder requests regarding the self-assessment and policy statement requirements for FSC Core Labour Requirements (CLR) when an organization has no workers and no plans to hire.
• INT-STD-40-004_70 (on page 52): Clarifies clause 13.7 of FSC-STD-40-004, specifying what information certificate holders must provide to contractors.
• INT-STD-20-011_44 (on page 13): Explains clause 2.6.f) i. of FSC-STD-20-011, confirming that certificate holders who do not take physical possession of materials and rely on certified contractors for transformation may be audited remotely.
