New Chain of Custody Derogation Published

FSC has published a new generic Derogation, Delay in applicability for activities outsourced for storage, logistics, or forwarding of ‘finished and labelled’ products (DER-STD-40-004_02). 

This Derogation provides a delay to meeting the requirements of ADVICE-40-004-23 V2-0 (available on page 26 of FSC-DIR-40-004) for contractors who provide storage, logistics, or forwarding activities for ‘finished and labelled’ products, so long as there is no risk of mixing. This delay is provided due to stakeholder concerns and with consideration for recent developments in the Chain of Custody Standards revision process.
