New Chain of Custody and Trademarks Generic Derogation

FSC has published a generic Derogation on the use of old licence codes by certificate holders changing their certificate type (DER-STD-50-001_01; DER-STD-20-011_04), which you can access here.

When a certificate holder transitions their operation model from a single-site certificate to a multi-site certificate or chooses to become part of a group certification as a participating member, they are obliged to amend their certificate code and corresponding licence code. Such modifications can involve substantial costs, as well as potential environmental impacts arising from the need to replace printing plates, remove existing product labels, and undertake related adjustments.
