New Chain of Custody Advice Note Consultation

FSC invites all interested stakeholders to take part in this focused consultation for a new advice note FSC-ADVICE-20-011-21 D1-0, ‘Public disclosure of ‘no FSC sales’’. In short, this advice notes amends the requirement for ‘no FSC sales’ information to be kept as ‘non-public’ and instead will make this information ‘public’, with some additional information to be captured on the FSC certification database. We believe that the proposed changes may positively impact auditing practices.

The focused consultation is open from 11 July to 10 August. We invite all accredited Certification Bodies to participate through the FSC Consultation Platform.
