FSC is developing an Interpretation clarifying under what circumstances a Chain of Custody (CoC)–accredited certification body must involve a forest management auditor for Controlled Wood (CW) audits at the forest level.
FSC reminds stakeholders that the consultation on the Interpretation regarding the inclusion of Controlled Wood CoC is underway.
We invite you to share your inputs on the draft Interpretation through the Consultation Platform: link. The focused consultation is open from 20 October to 18 November 2025.
