FSC is pleased to announce the publication of FSC Interim Forest Stewardship Standards for Turkiye (FSC-STD-TUR-01-2026_EN) based on FSC Principles and Criteria V5-3. Certification Bodies (CBs) operating in Turkiye are required to inform all their clients about the English (official) version of the FSC standard immediately. When applying this standard, CBs shall address major and minor nonconformities as usual.
The effective date of the standard is 15 March 2026. The transition period of the IFSS will last 12 months from this date.
Existing certificate holders must be audited against the new standard, as applicable, within 18 months of the effective date in order to retain their certification status. Certificates issued under the old standard will automatically expire on 14 September 2027.
