Consultation open for two advice notes related to Intact Forest Landscapes

FSC invites you to comment on two draft Forest Management Advice Notes related to the implementation of Motion 45/2025 on Intact Forest Landscapes (IFLs):

• ADV-STD-60-004_02 V1-0: Development of indicators for enhanced HCV 2 management and monitoring in IFLs 
• ADV-STD-20-007_18 V4-0: Interim indicators and eligibility criteria for implementation of Motion 45/2025 in IFLs

These Advice Notes introduce interim measures to support a transition towards an outcome-based approach to IFL management, building on the experience of Motion 23/2020 pilot countries and expanding applicability to additional regions.

Given the implications for Forest Stewardship Standards and certification practices in IFL regions, we strongly encourage feedback from Certification Bodies and auditors operating in affected countries.
