FSC is launching a public consultation from 20 May to 3 July 2026 on two draft Advice Notes related to certification body requirements:
• ADV-FSC-20-001-13 – Certification statement (FSC Regulatory Module)
• ADV-FSC-20-007-28 – Minimum audit duration (Forest Management)
The proposed updates were developed in response to findings identified through an ongoing FSC scheme review by the German national accreditation body, DAkkS, and aim to support clearer certification outputs and more consistent audit practices across certification bodies.
FSC will also host two public webinars on 3 June 2026 (10:00–11:15 CEST and 16:00–17:15 CEST) with interpretation available in English, Spanish, and French.
The consultation will be available through the FSC Consultation Platform from 20 May 2026.
