FSC-STD-60-004 V2 International Generic Indicators (IGI) requires support to transaction verification and fibre testing. However, national standards based on the FSC Principles and Criteria V4 or the IGI V1-0 do not include these requirements. This advice note closes temporarily this regulatory gap until all national standards have been transferred to the FSC Principles and Criteria V5.
The concept of project certification was redesigned and simplified, which also meant that there was a need to readjust the trademark requirements for publicly communicating about the projects and organizations holding a project certificate.
These requirements will be included in the Requirements for use of the FSC trademarks by certificate holders (FSC-STD-50-001) in a future revision of the standard.
This Advice Note applies to Standard Development Groups whose National Forest Stewardship Standards were approved or passed the stage of second public consultation before 1st July 2018, when FSC-STD-60-004 V2-0 was published.

The present document was developed in accordance with FSC's normative document for the development and maintenance of Forest Stewardship Standards. It contains certification requirements for all forest operations in Croatia, including small and low-intensity managed forests. Revisions of Forest Stewardship Standards are ongoing, and all existing standards will be transferred to the revised Principles & Criteria version 5-2. All standards are valid until replaced by a new Forest Stewardship Standard.
